Olimp Bar Jahorina - Reconstruction and extension of the mountain restaurant

Olimp Bar on Jahorina is a project involving the reconstruction and extension of the Jahorina restaurant, whose capacity and form were defined by the existing structure and dimensions. Over time, the building had been expanded in an unsystematic manner, so the goal was to establish a new, unified visual order by harmonizing the volumes. The main visual motif consists of the “X”-shaped columns that dominate the façade facing the lake. The project combines the functional aspect of expansion with respect for the natural landscape and local context, offering visitors a new setting that complements the mountain scenery of Jahorina.
